[15/52] Waiting

This week I so busy waiting for something interesting to happen I almost forgot to shoot. Then I remembered this technique and gave it a shot. It’s called a cinemagraph. Pretty cool, huh? ;)

I toyed with doing this idea and ended up taking something right before this that I was so unhappy with, so I said “forget ‘safe’ shots” and gave this idea a try.

I’m glad I took the plunge.

[9/52] It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas

I spent the past 4 days in the most homely place on earth for me: New York. The weather was wonderful and I was surrounded by great people I get to call my family. In short, it felt a lot more like the holidays than it ever feels down here in Florida.

I took this photo Saturday so technically I’m still on time. 9 weeks of sticking to a project… go me!
